This particular action has been aimed at Barclays, since they are the sponsors of the Isle of Wight Festival. Many protests have taken place over the last few years regarding Barclays and other banks.

The Rainy Day Women demand for the Isle of Wight Festival to end sponsorship ties with the Festival.

The Isle of Wight Festival has previously issued press releases regarding sustainability there's a section on their website dedicated to it. However, the Festival can never be sustainable whilst its main sponsor continues to fund oil and gas companies.
